Hey guys,

I just bought a 04 350zr a few months ago. It has 28k miles. It is currently still in storage but i plan on changing out the oil before I start driving it.

I plan on switching over to full synthetic. What brands would you guys recommend. I was planning on using either Mobil 1 or Castrol. What viscosity?

the factory recommends 5w30 but wouldnt 10w30 be better since i do not drive it in the winter?

 

There's several threads on here that talk about the different oils, and has really good reviews and info about each.

I personally have used Pennzoil Platinum 5w30, since I bought my Z, new in 06. It's my daily and has ~80K miles on it right now.

 

and I use German Castrol 0w-30!
