Damn, no wonder why insurance rates just keep going up and up. When I first insured my Z with USAA, the insurance lady said they base their rates off of a number system, 1 to 25. Higher number meaning its wrecked more often/damaged, theft, more HP, ect ect, and of course the higher your car is on that number system the higher your rates are going to be. She said the average car on the road is rated at about a 12.... The 350Z however is a 22. I'm almost 27 and paying about 140/month for full coverage. To me thats too high.
Moral of the story.... Everyone stop wrecking you're fukin Z's so maybe one day insurance rates won't be so DAMN much!!

I drank a little bit but I wasn't drunk. I know if I'm not able to drive I would sober up before driving any vehicle. There was a car that change into my lane really fast trying to cut me off and I lost control of my vehicle and got into an accident man. I'm just lucky to be alive and that no one else was injured. The police show and did not even write a police report or give me a ticket. What sucks is i really like that car and have put so much money into it the past three years owning i hate to see it leave me like that. So basically i was renting the 350z for 3 years and put out about 15k+ for it. And also some people on this forums are straight *******s!!!

to clarify, what i bolded wasn't part of the OP, i just speculated based on the OPs highly suspect story, which was confirmed in his subsequent post:
regardless of whether you were past the legal limit or not, alcohol must have played a factor. how do you lose control of a car, hit the divider and spin 360 from having someone cut you off "really fast". gimme a break OP, it sounds like you were speeding and being intoxicated impaired your judgment to anticipate a car merging into your lane, so you jerked the wheel which caused the z's rear end to kick out.

oh man did i mess up bad! i wrecked my 2007 ppw 350z driving home from a friends house last night on my birthday. I hit the middle divider on the freeway and my car spun 360. The adjuster came and said my car is totaled!! she estimated the repair cost 14k and she didn't even look at the engine or the bottom on the car. By looking at the car all fenders are damaged, the headlights are damage, bumper, rear bumper hood and my driver side rear wheels is bent inward the air bags pop! This sucks because i still owe 15k on the car. So if they decided to give me 15k for the car I will be left without a Z. I dunno what do to now lucky i didn't hit anybody else.
