Hi,
I am very interested in your pristine 350Z. I love all the mods you've done with it, but was only curious about the Nismo plugs and pistons ($1000). Can you tell me a little bit more about those?
Thanks!

Hi, Nismo Japan makes an engine that has lighter and stronger pistons that handle heat better. As for the plugs , they are the double platinum nismo plugs used for racing.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the information. So is your engine the stock 3.5L V6 with the lighter and stronger pistons from Nismo put into it or do you have that entire special Nismo engine? Also, how did you determine that horsepower? I think the 2003 and 2004 350Zs were 287hp, no? I am a cash buyer and am in San Diego, but am considering your car plus one other, and hope to see both of them this weekend and be at DMV on Monday with the new title!
Thanks,

Hi Scott, my friend works at a dump shop and 339 is what we got on 91 octane fuel. My engine is the stock and has 287 hp. The air intake and tune added 27 hp alone. Then we have the racing exhaust, headers, pistons, plugs, direct drive pulleys, throttle body spacer, plenum spacer and a few other things. The car breaths much better.
Please let me know if you would like to see it . I will let it go this weekend for 11k flat and we can put gift on the title so you don't have to pay sales tax. I also accept credit cards on site.

How many miles do you typically get on a full tank of gas? What is your availability Saturday and Sunday?
Thanks,

Hey Scott, I can get invoices in a few days. I did 90% of the labor. This car was going to be used in a few movies buy they changed their minds and had me redo a 370z instead.
As for the dyno, i have the print somewhere.

Thanks. Please do send them to me - I'd like to buy a car this weekend if possible. I am a little confused, though, because in your one video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh9R2...eature=related) you say, " it's not automatic, it's Tiptronic Sequential gear, with a 370Z engine, w/bored cylinders." Yet in the email below you said the engine is stock. Is it a 370 engine or a 350 engine? That's why I'm asking for invoices for clarity, and I can not buy until it's perfectly clear.
Can you meet with me this weekend? I have $10k in 100s.

Hi, I will get the paperwork. The engine is 350z stock block since it does not pass smog with a 370z block because they are classed differently. I can accept 10.5 this weekend but I can not go any lower. I will have the paperwork available tonight.

I guess that's my mistake - you know - since YOUR Craigslist ad links to those videos I'd think you were having some control over who was answering replies to the video.
The 339hp made more sense with mods to a 370 engine, but now I don't understand how you got there with the 350 engine. I'll wait for the paperwork from you. Also, can you answer my question about how many miles you get to a tank of gas?
Thank you.

Hi, Not an issue, I contacted my friend and he will have the paperwork sent over in a few hours. As for the tank range, I got 469 miles out of one tank going to San Fran doing 95 the entire way there.
We only got an extra 52 horses out of the mods. A complete ECU tune gave us 27 alone. Then the air intake and exhaust add 15 together and we also have the throttle body control and the headers. As well as racing plugs and lighter pistons.
Anyway, I will get the paper work sorted out. Let me know if you would like to come and see the car.

Hi,
Yes, I'd like to come see the car after you have the paperwork. And just so I'm sure my math is correct, isn't 469miles / 20gallon tank = 23.5 miles per gallon? Even if the tank wasn't empty and you only used 18 gallons of gas, that's still only 26 miles per gallon. How are you calculating 38mpg (which is 25% more than the manufacturer claims)?
Thanks.

Let me know when you have some of that paperwork so I can come and drive your car!
Thanks!

Hey Scott, I had a guy come buy and give me cash so I just let it go. I would get a salvaged 370z if I were you. They are way more fun and not that expensive.

Hi,
I am very interested in your pristine 350Z.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott, my friend works at a dump shop and 339 is what we got on 91 octane fuel. My engine is the stock and has 287 hp. The air intake and tune added 27 hp alone. Then we have the racing exhaust, headers, pistons, plugs, direct drive pulleys, throttle body spacer, plenum spacer and a few other things. The car breaths much better.
Please let me know if you would like to see it . I will let it go this weekend for 11k flat and we can put gift on the title so you don't have to pay sales tax. I also accept credit cards on site.

Hi Dennis,
Man, I love how that car sounds. Can you show me some sort of receipt for the Nismo pistons purchase and/or install? What shop installed the pistons, and do you have any report from the 339 from your friends dump shop?
How many miles do you typically get on a full tank of gas? What is your availability Saturday and Sunday?
Thanks,
Scott

Hey Scott, I can get invoices in a few days. I did 90% of the labor. This car was going to be used in a few movies buy they changed their minds and had me redo a 370z instead.
As for the dyno, i have the print somewhere.

Dennis,
Thanks,
Scott

Hi, I will get the paperwork. The engine is 350z stock block since it does not pass smog with a 370z block because they are classed differently. I can accept 10.5 this weekend but I can not go any lower. I will have the paperwork available tonight.

I didn't put up the video, a friend of mine did. It was an error on our part but please don't accuse me of lieing unless you have something to back it up.

Thanks.
