Well, I assumed since it is a 350z forum... you had purchased a 350z since you didn't say otherwise! BTW this forum is known to flame trolls. Sorry you weren't prepared for that.

Edit: I drive a 2000 Ford Ranger with 114,000 mi. I understand what buying a car in this price range is about.

I would love to have a 350z; i've wanted one since they came out...but finances and small children require me to drool from a distance.

I understand what you're saying. I really am just here to gather as much info as I can to try to repair this stupid situation. If there hadn't already been a giant thread mocking this jerk I wouldn't have bothered you guys. I'm already furious that it happened in the first place and now of course kicking myself because all I had to do was check the damn VIN...if I had, we wouldn't be here.

Sorry, I just re-read your first post and understand why you are here now. Like others said, he has committed multiple crimes. He has also breached his contract with you, in the bill of sale, he did not deliver the vehicle specified.

Another thing, just because carfax doesn't match the actual mileage does not mean that the odometer has been tampered with. Carfax only records maintanence or repairs from certain places. For instance my car would still have low mileage on carfax because it has never seen a dealer or repair shop since my purchase. Carfax has no idea how many miles were put on it since then.

In this case the only thing he may have done wrong is indicated the wrong vin number. I don't know what the legal stipulations are for something like that. I have a feeling though this is not as criminal as you originally thought and may be pursuing in small claims.

I'd say get some legal advice from someone who knows something rather than this stranger on a forum.

I saw this video a couple of days ago...I thought the video HAD to be a joke, but holy crap, there's also a test drive part to it that I didn't notice. LOL.

You know there's some dude out there that will end up buying it.

Is it just me or did that 5-100 seem like it took forever to hit 100? A quick downshift to pass a car doing 40 in a 55, not even in the optimal gear, and my car will hit 100 pretty easily. I have bolt-ons but I don't really consider my Z to be fast.
