Close Call on Friday(Courtesy Nissan)
I made all the arrangements to to have a truck and box trailer to head down to Courtesy Nissan on Friday to pick up my car on Saturday. I email Joe and he says the car is not there but they do have a truck with two on it. They were not sure whether my car was one of them. The truck was supposed to get there at three. My plans were to leave at 4. Of course I am thinking that it is not going to be on the truck and my wait will continue. Well 3:53 the cell phone rings and my car is there. We pack up and drive down that night. The next morning I go to purchase the car and to my suprise I had one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership. Joe Luna and all the other people treated me like I won the lottery (I think I did). Not only did I leave with my brand new Z(Silverstone looks incredible) but I was given a Fossil Z watch, Z key chain, The Z Lust book and a Z hat. The car is amazing and I can not wait to get through the break in period.
Here is a pic of the Z and the tight fit in the box trailer..... it did not move an inch(yes we strapped it down)

Wait, is that the dealership on Central Expressway here in Dallas? I walked through their lot today but didn't see evidence of any 350Zs, despite 9 showing up online. Where are they hiding them?

They are not always on the lot. My car showed up on Nissans website on Friday and showed up Friday. I know other cars that have not arrived but have been on the site for a few days. There was a white Z going out to an older guy right after mine.

BTW what was your estimated delivery date (the one you got when your VIN showed up) vs. your actual delivery date?
Originally they told me Sept 30th (+/- 10 days), then more recently Sept 11th (+/- 4 days). It seems like most people are getting them early, I hope its the same for me.

Sept 30th (+/- 10 days), then more Sept 3th (+/- 5 days) then the 30th........ let me know when you get it and how Courtesy was... you are going to love it..... people giving you the thumbs up ... looking at the car and wodering what it is .......

I am glad you felt like you won the lottery, I am really glad you liked the gifts you received at the time of delivery!, It was a pleasure meeting you, I know you could have purchase your car locally, but I am glad you had faith in us at Courtesy Nissan to purchase your car from. If I can do anything else please let me know, and one more thing didn't to keep you in suspence till the last minute on Friday, but i hope it was worth the wait.

I was reading the postings online today, well just to let you know, There will be a touring 6 speed, brickyard/frost leather (Beautiful!!!!!) on my showroom at 2:00 p.m. today so come and see me and ask for the ZMAN, but it will be delivered tonight at 8:00 p.m.
