Default Picking up Z tonight at 7:00pm

Dealer called at 8:30am and said my Z was dropped off last night and it would be ready to pick up tonight. Can't wait until tonight. Going to be a long day at work.

Know how you feel. I am leaving in an hour and a half to go get mine. Kind of hard to sleep last nite

Oh man, that is the worst.

When I picked up my Z a few weeks ago I was picking it up in the morning. I hardly slept a wink.

Try not to think about it. It just makes the day go slower.

I ordered it back on July 19th. It is a Redline Touring AT w/frost int. All options including the NAV which is why I had to wait for it. They couldn't locate any that had a NAV unit.

Great news! A word of advice. Make sure you inspect the car under lighted conditions and test drive it before handing them a check. Have fun!

Start at the hood, and then work clockwise while looking the car over. Look at all 4 wheels, look for dents, look for scratches. Then walk around the car again. Look at the wheels again. Test drive it. Check the functionality of EVERYTHING. See if it pulls to the right.

If you find anything make them give you a 'We Owe'. Make sure they do it before you sign anything. Get those things in writing before signing anything.

I said it twice for a reason

And after you sign the papers HAVE FUN!!! It is an awesome car!

Congrats!

Well went to get Z tonight but found a small dent in the top of the passenger side rear quarter panel, right where the seal for the hatchback rests. Didn't take delivery today, they are having the dent wizzard come tomorrow to remove the dent. Hope he can remove it to my satisfaction or else I not sure what I will do. It is not real noticible but don't want a new car with a dent already. Guess I'll just wait to see how it turns out first and then go from there. Did take it for a ride though and it is awsome. Thanks for all the replys.

If the paint isn't broken/removed, it should be fine. I discovered 2 dents on the rear 1/4 panel, driver's side several months after I got the car. I told them to leave them alone if they couldn't keep from breaking the paint. No problem, they can tell before they're finished if the paint will stay on. If they told you it will come out w/o losing paint, it probably will. If not, I would recommend leaving the dent, its not large you said, and it would look better dented with the paint intact, IMO.
