yes you shouldn't put anything nismo in your car, badge or stickers, or even mods, Nismo Corp business is only to sell parts for cars that were sold by Nissan as nismo no other...
Nissan doesn't like money, nor want market share, or even want to participate in a market of 92 billion dollars only in the US for automotive after markets parts.
give them a call, I'm sure they will say that pride is more important than money...
j/k put anything in your car that you want, even put the nismo plate if you want makes no difference only to haters that always have an opinion about everything....
Nismo is not like for example AMG (Mercedes) or M (BMW).

I agree with your overall point, but comparing Nismo to Shelby isn't really apples and apples. IMO, Nismo has no where near the same implications that Shelby does. Historically the Shelby line has been a tremendous power upgrade over the standard model. A Nismo 350Z isn't much more than a body kit.

To the OP:
Nothing wrong with addidng Nismo parts. That's why Nissan is selling them. But to misrepresent a "regular" Z as a Nismo ESPECIALLY if selling the car is just wrong!!!!!!

I think if you put some real NISMO performance parts on there, then it would be OK to rep the NISMO brand.
BTW did you used to own a civic? because this sounds like a Honda move

OP,
Do whatever you want, but why would you want to represent your car as something it's not? Personally, I prefer shaving off all the badges completely to keep people guessing and not promote that I have parts that are worth stealing.
