I have a Base '06 Z, and have begin looking into getting a few things soon, like NISMO (intake, oil, radiator caps, Carbon Fiber B-Pillars, and floor mats)...This just hit me last night, my Z is not a Nismo, so would adding these make it somehow morally stupid, and throw off the balance..lol...or should i just stick to the non NISMO accessories

 

Don't buy a real nismo center console with the numbered plaque on it either.

I have Nismo mats, and my license plate is "NIZMO". Do what u like dude. I dont see anything wrong with reppin Nismo if ur car is a Nissan.

 

For the CF B - Pillar covers i will just get some high quality (non NISMO), but as for the engine component and accessories i say yes, and for the Floor mats i kinda like my Z logo ones..Thanks for everyone's input it helped...haha seriously crazy about someone buying the NISMO center console for the plate

NISSAN MOTORSPORTS, YOU HAVE A NISSAN...why couldn't you sport Nismo??? Now trying to say it's a stock Nismo is a no no...put you can sport the brand broski!

 

Nismo just indicates the motorsports division of Nissan not just a particular car that is modded by nissan. So as long as your parting with Nismo original stuff (kits, engine mods, etc.) your basically just representing your willingness to represent Nissan and Nismo.

+ on the stickers tho, do not overload your car with them - Decals = Horsepower = Fail

 

Would the NISMO B Pillar covers fall into this category (they do say NISMO on the bottom), or is it just NISMO Ebay decals and emblems

 

 

NISMO B pillars are crap I dont even DD my car and have had them on just over 2 years and they are already faded out and look like crap.

I say rock it as much as you can haha. I cant wait for the day i find i nismo Z in the junkyard so i can rape it for all its parts lol.

 

It is not like your putting an M3 badge on a 330. Basically the Z's are same damn engine, so I'd say go for it.

 

I'd say its ok, just don't go overboard with a Nismo windshield sticker, etc. A few tastefully done decals/mods is ok...emphasis on tasteful.
