Default Hit a deer! :(

So I was driving down a populated 4 lane highway near my house, near dealerships, restaurants, traffic lights, etc. This is the LAST place I would EVER expect to see a deer. I'm doing about 55mph, all of a sudden out of nowhere this deer is right in front of my car, I am only able to slow down to about 40mph. There is no possible way to avoid the deer. Bam, I hit it. I think I just brushed it though, because the sound it made wasn't that loud. The deer ran off. I got out of my car to look at the damage, I have a bunch of new paint chips on my front bumper, new hairline scratches / cracking in my bumper, and about a 3 inch not very deep dent. Granted this situation could have been a million times worse, but I am still pissed. I have liability insurance so this would have to come out of pocket. I will try to get some pics up later, but do you think this is possible to be fixed without replacing the entire bumper?

I slammed a deer from behind ........... in my 240 last year. Going at least 80km. It's *** sunk into my hood, just beside the driver's headlight. It shot the deer up in the air and it didnt hit the car anywhere else. The deer crapped all over the car. I could barely see out the windshield. I emptied the washer fluid washing all the **** off!!! LOL Smashed in my hood and broke the headlight housing.(still works)
I think I was very lucky. I didnt stop to check it out because my condition was far to illegal. I drove a bit since I still had headlights, and I watched to see if it was going to overheat. But it didnt and I made it home that night. That was the last time I drove in that condition.

Is it an OEM bumper? If so, it'll probably be cheaper to replace and paint it than it will to fix it and re-paint it. I'm not an autobody export though by any means.

Sounds like a good time to get that aftermarket bumper you've had your eyes on.

P.S., my buddy hit a dead deer and totaled his car.

man that sucks! i was on my way to work last week (work nights) and i was coming up on a corner ive been through thousands of times that is'nt well lit and i see blood all over the ground and before i could change lanes there was this huge wild boar dead in the road! good thing i decided to drive my subaru to work that night as it sits higher than the Z. nothing happened to the suby but if i was in the Z the front bumper wouldve been all jacked up!
