Post 04 Performance 350Z - What did you guys pay?

Hey all, about to make the move finally

Just wondering what you all paid for your 04 performances. I got a feeling the dealer I went to yesterday was dicking me around...

The lowest he would go was 700 below MSRP (so 31K for an 04 performance with no big options (just trunk and floor and aero which he said was free cause i didnt want it).

Then he went on to say that they were gonna pay more than usual for my trade in, a mint 01 infiniti i30. So, that would make me feel better about trading my car to them for 15K ...

I wanted to be careful, so I told him Id pay 10K on top of my trade in, (25K total - in cash, on the spot), and instead of making offers and haggling, he freaks out and tells me I wasted his time. All this after he drove MY car, and by the way, I have still yet to even drive a Z.

AHH! I hate looking like a typical young kid trying to get one over on a dealership so i could drive a car Im not gonna buy.

Sorry for the rant... But yea, so how much did you guys put down for yours??

-Steve

$700 below MSRP ain't bad. No clue on what your trade is worth.

My dealer would not budge off of MSRP on my '04 Performance coupe. I walked out once and threatened to walk out another time, but I could stand the thought of someone else driving that car. They must have seen me coming.

Got $1000 off MSRP but spent it already by getting aftermarket leather seats added.

Try Smithtown and ask for Dan Ziegler aka bluefish (on the board) ... I am sure they will work with you. Good luck!
