Default How is this a yellow 05 Z.. but not an anniversary edition?

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, and probably a stupid question!!

Im just curious, I thought all Yellow 350z's were "ultra yellow" and 35th anniversary editions... which of course has the rev up engine and other stuff...

This guy says its an enthusiast model though... Can anyone tell me whats the deal with this car? Is it possible to have a yellow enthusiast model?

I might buy this Z, it only has 20500 miles!! And can get it for around 14,500 maybe less, I offered 14.. too bad its automatic

My ultra yellow is an enthusiast. Just like Dave said, it's a option.

Autos suck though. I'd pass.

Yea I have really been wanting a 6mt, and have always driven manuals... Im pretty sure I can get his Z for 14k which is a good deal.

What happened to make you get rid of the Z?

Ive been wantin to get an HR and a 6mt, but not sure I should be spending that much money...

He bought a new one.

Buying something just because it's a "good deal" is never a good idea. If you're just going to drive it around town, go for it. But if you are going to do some track days, fi, etc, I wouldn't recommend it.

HR isn't that special.

Well It would just be a daily driver, no track or anything, and probably will only put in an intake and wheels! Im not getting it just because its a good deal, ive been lookin for a Z the past 2 months every day (about to return from afghanistan)

Its exactly what I want, has very low miles, and seems perfect. The only thing I am not too crazy about it the 5at... I dont think thats a huge deal to be honest, im not going to mod it too crazy. I just want to have a nice 350z to enjoy and not try to have a super fast car with a ton of mods.
Ive been reading that the 5at's on a Z is pretty good actually for an auto tranny...

Sounds like it would work out just fine then. I'm in Colorado too, maybe I'll see you driving around.

I say go for it. Sounds like a good deal, just make sure to inspect the car thoroughly or bring a friend that knows about cars. I also drive a 5at Z and I have no complaint's. My first cars were manuals and I never really cared for it. I just like to cruise I guess. Yellow is a very nice color choice! Just keep the MOD's tasteful and have fun with your car

IMO buying an auto is a terrible idea, especially since you already acknowledged it as a negative. You will be wishing you waited every time you see a 6mt that you could have waited for.

Be patient...the cars are only going to get cheaper.

I love my AT Z. My first 2 cars were MT ('84 NA Z31, '88 SC MR2) and I have no complaints with my Z. I've yet to see an NA MT Z beat me in a 1/4 mile. I loooove the low-end TQ.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. If you dont care much for the mt, i think at for you should be fine. But make sure your not going to regret it. I have an at and the worst part is, every time i get in the car i wish i bought a mt.

I am pretty sure you could have gotten a 05 35th anniversary edition 350Z in black also. I am verifying this on Google now.

Buy a 6mt. Autos are for luxury cars. It took a while for me to find a 6mt roadster that wasn't black and had low miles but I waited and got what I want. This motor seems to have enough torque to work well with a auto trans however.
