Not bad. The important thing is whether you like it. I think it's looking pretty decent.

There is like a wave of "niceness" on this site. People need to lay off the Zanex.

The wheels look terrible honestly. Not because they aren't name brand, but because they are poorly executed. Spacers and a drop can save it for the time being.

Nice exhaust and the antenna is always a good first mod.

Tires , you need tires. 225/45-18 up front , do you have stock size in the rear too. Get some meat under it.

Ya the wheels are just temporary. I have a co working buying my stockers from me so I needed something to roll around on for a few weeks. The car came with the wing and I'm kinda scared to take it of and see what's beneith. I think the stillen wing looks awesome. But I'm afraid to see how bad this wing F**ked my hatch up. Thanks for the feed back honisty is fine by me.

And I'm not trying to insult OP either, but I'm a strong believer of performance upgrades rather than ricy visuals. Will your new rims offer anything better than current ones aka wider, lighter, etc? Lowering it would be a good idea indeed, but the wing is frankly useless unless you're going to drive 120+ very frequently and thats a pretty bad idea in itself. If you're going to track this thing, then its a different story.

^+1. Not a bad start, but I agree with Skv012a 100fold. What has happened to our car enthusiast culture that performance has taken a back seat to ricing out a car (and actually worsening performance in the process) for the sake of following some absurd trend? Granted, to each their own, but personally, I believe performance has top priority. My 2 pennies, just lose the wing altogether haha the car has sick lines, you don't need a spoiler ruining it. But like I said, you've strayed from the most common errors so far, so ur off to a good start Keep it up, GL on modding ur Z

Wing is fine. Wheels on the other hand, not so much.

People probably focus more on cosmetic mods because unless you want to drop thousands and thousnds on something like an engine swap or FI, you are limited in what you can do to get meaningful performance out of the Z. If anyone bought a Z and hoped to get some easy HP out of it, you picked the wrong car.

Besides, unless you track the car, how often can you really use all of the power the car came with stock? You can enjoy cosmetic mods even while the car sits still. Just my opinion though.

If the car was being tracked, I think it would be using wheels other than the ones it has on right now. Maybe I'm wrong, but are those Rotas?

^ Don't get me wrong, I appreciate cosmetic mods as well, its when those mods start negatively affecting performance that I think it is getting out of hand, that or when it just looks completely redonculous... I mean, I'm waiting on my Nismo V1 kit and carbon roof w/ turbulizers... Nothing against a nice body kit or some good rims... just, idunno, performance first. What good is it to have a car that "looks fast" but, the guy next to you in an RSX can out perform u... (And honestly, I just said RSX cuz there is some rampant hate on that car in this forum, but, I used to own an 04 type S, they are nice little cars... i never loved it as much as i love my Z, but it wasnt bad either)

Nothing wrong with the wing, but the wheels are horrible. I would have stayed stock until I could afford something better. That would be my first priority to take care. You mentioned lowering springs and thats definitely going down the right path.

My take on performance versus cosmetic is similar to JEKL's. If you can't afford to go FI and do it right, then then there is nothing wrong with putting your funds into making your car look nicer. If I was on a tight budget, it would be exhaust,CAI, plenum spacer for performance and that's it before I started putting money into a decent set of wheels and a tasteful kit and of course audio.

A sleeper is gr8, but I prefer a well rounded car anyday.
