redvert - Get it soon cause once you have more than 5 or 6 your gonna want to repaint the bumper before you put the clear bra on. 
I still advocate the Colgan Bra. It is only $89 and you just take it off for the weekends.
In my area, it's the Semi's that really throw the rocks causing chips. The SUV don't seem to do as much cause they have wheel wells. There is one particular stretch I stay off just so that I don't get broken windshields during the week. On that stretch I have had no less than 3 cracked windshields because of those F'ers.
