Yep it showed up at around 4000 miles, They did an alignment and swapped the wheels, left to right and vice versa.

They remounted them? I was under the impression that those with Feathering got new tires... my 04 is at 1500k so hopefully i still have sometime to go.. first oil change is coming this weekend, just got my rino ramps

No feathering on mine yet. 3,170 miles. My car does pull to the right though, which is being fixed. (Not just an alignment.)

Some people say pulling to the right causes feathering, some people say it is not related at all... So I dunno.

How did you or the dealer fix the pull to the right problem?

They havnt yet. They are going to replace a control arm and something else of longer length. THEN align.

Thats the first I've heard of an 04 with feathering.

Can't be just your 04 car, I would expect to hear more stories of 04 feathering occuring in the very near future. buy maybe not.

Let's see...

They usually (most of the time) will remount the tires first, then when the problem shows up again they will replace with new tires.

I think the more interesting question is, Do any of the euro Z's have cupping/feathering? I wonder if the new suspension helps in that reagard.

Anyone in the UK reading this? Care to share your thoughts?

Just say that even after they replace the control arm, and the other peice, that the pulling right which could possibly lead to feathering does not go away. Would the Nismo S tuned suspension elimiate it? Or for that matter any aftermarket suspension set up. I use the s tuned becaue I plan on getting it asap.
