I am not quite sure on these. I have herd they are standard for 04. This must only be in euro countries?? Because mine sure does not have them (don't need them, just curious what the real story is).
Please excuse me for being dumb.

I am 6'4", and would really appreciate them. My knees and shins are always "resting" against parts of car interiors. I drive a dodge van at work, and the dashboard hits my shins just bellow the knees. Some padding would be a welcome change.

My 04 coupe doesn't have them but I just came back from Japan a few days ago and took some pics of knee pads on a 04 JDM FairladyZ sitting in Nissan's guest hall at their Oppama plant.
I got to take a tour of one of the plants at Oppama, but unfortunately not one where they build the Z, only the one that builds the Cube, Cube Cubic and March (none of which are for the US).
Here are the pics.

i guess i get to be the envy of some people sense my dad'z 350z which i get to drive quite often has them. My dad is pretty cool about letting me drive his car if i just feel like taking a drive, i would say they are pretty usefull, i dont like how high the seat is on the 350z, thats about the only thing i dont like about the car, its less comfortable with my feet on the pedals, in the 280z i normally drive im lower and my legs are more strait which i prefer but then i can kind of spread my legs out and rest them on the pads hehe if only that seat would go back a little further here are some pics..
