The problem is that You cant buy just the knee pads.
I order to retro fit them to an '03 you have to buy and install the both side center console pieces. Too expensive for me for a little bling.

 

I just bought my 04 350Z on Thursday, and I'm happy to see I've got them.

After driving around a friend's 03 for a while, I'm happy to not feel the pain from my knees rubbing against the hard plastic of the center console in my own.

 

My 04 was delivered on March 1 and it has the knee pads. They are pretty useless for me(I'm 5'11") but I can see how they would help.

 

im almost 6 feet tall so about the same height has you but id say they are usefull for me. and i rest my knee/leg on it so i wonder why it wouldnt for u sense ur 5'11, of course i have the seet all the way back as well.

 

just took delivery on a ethu model, built 02/04, it's got 'em. works for me, I'm 6 feet

 

Anyone have any idea how much the console pieces would cost if someone wanted to remove the knee pads?

 

I'm 6'1" and they're useless to me. My knees are way above them. They're closer to my calves.
