The problem is that You cant buy just the knee pads.
I order to retro fit them to an '03 you have to buy and install the both side center console pieces. Too expensive for me for a little bling.

I just bought my 04 350Z on Thursday, and I'm happy to see I've got them.
After driving around a friend's 03 for a while, I'm happy to not feel the pain from my knees rubbing against the hard plastic of the center console in my own.

im almost 6 feet tall so about the same height has you but id say they are usefull for me. and i rest my knee/leg on it so i wonder why it wouldnt for u sense ur 5'11, of course i have the seet all the way back as well.
