Default Traction Control Conversion?

Can it be done? I got a Base model for next to nothing, THEN realized it didn't have TC.

I'm well aware it could mean having to buy/install quite a few parts, but on a whole; what all would i need to add the Traction Control feature?

(People that say "the button" will be ignored, and a curse will be put on you to make you start losing your hair)

If i could block/delete your comment, I would. I asked a respectable question and even included not to respond with moronic answers.

I'm asking you to please delete/edit your reply. A simple "good question" will work. Or even a "The link/info you're looking for can be found....."

"yourself" is 1 word, bright one.

It wouldn't be a simple upgrade. Essentially you'd have to convert the car from a base to an Enthusiast.

You would need sensors (steering, yaw maybe?), all the wiring, computer changes and the brains to put it all together.

Maybe compare diagrams of models with and without and see what the differences are? Personally, it sounds like a lot of frustration, time, and money.

not worth it. the guy who's comment you said was moronic and stupid is actually the most correct answer that will come in this thread.

It's true, though. Just buy a different trim.

I could have just said "the button" if i was being moronic instead i took the time to give you the right answer but you are too daft to comprehend.

Pretty sure that means if you want TCS with the ProEFI you need to have had it stock already before the EMS. How else will you monitor individual wheel speed without the sensors?

Like the first response, your best bet is to trade up.

KP Technologies makes a module that will leave the TCS permanently off unless you turn it on.

^ I agree. Just drive without traction control, I have a Base and sure it is a little intense in the rain sometimes, but you should be fine as long as you're not crazy. If you absolutely HAVE to have it, your best bet is to upgrade from a base like ringinheat said, it's just how it works buddy. That is why you got a Base for cheap, it comes without things lol.

Must be a picky shopper. Or not, seeing as how he bought a Base?

Would you be happy just throwing in a limited slip rear end? Traction control and limited slip are two different things and I feel that an LSD is plenty of traction.
