good deal???
i finally traded in my lexus is300 for a touring blue Z at a local dealership. ended up getting $21k for my car and paying $6000+tax for the 10k miles 350Z. Is this a good deal? I am picking the car up on Monday. I hope i am not buying a problematic car after seeing all the TSBs...
auto or manual, manual is 33k new, so your payins 27000 for the Z... not a great deal, but I wouldnt say its too bad either...
make sure your either getting a good trade in on the lexus or a good deal on the Z, Z doesnt seem too good... but is the lexus trade a good amount?

hmm... i am getting around $19k for my trade in from other dealers. This dealer is willing to give me $21k. So i pay a $6000 difference. The Z is 6 speed. How much are dealers selling Touring Z with around 10k miles for???
What I am telling you is completely my opinion. But it seems to be a fairly common opinion. The only options I would be interested in are the leather with heated seats and tire pressure monitors. I would rather buy my own rims, I don't need VDC, and the BOSE stereo is disliked my more than one to say the least. Given the difference in price, the items I do want are not worth about 3 or 4 grand. I actually wanted the 17" rims not only because I like the look of them better, but I am going to use them for snow tires. And I am now free to wait and find a nice 18" or 19" rim that I really like. Also if you are familiar with the car, there were 03s (I am assuming that the used Touring model is an 03) that had tranny problems. It does seem like 04s are getting a different tranny that is better. Not trying to scare you out of the 03 Touring, but I would DEFINITELY rather have a brand new Enthusiast. Good luck either way, mine gets here in about 8 days.
