Something I noticed from JDM Z sites......

A lot of them have stick on the "350Z" emblem.

Whereas over here we like to put on the "Fairlady Z" emblem.

I would rather take a ticket than drill into my car. I had a cop tell me to drill into my Saleen's front bumper for a plate. I just gave him this retarded look and laughed.

BTW if you are interested in knowing how to get around it its simple. Photocopy your ticket, every week change the date. Then if you get pulled over tell the cop you just got a ticket for it and you got a copy of it and show him. It works everytime for me. Unless the cop wanted to be a complete dick then you should be ok.

This would be a good idea... if it worked! Cops have computers, and can see anything you got.

Then they should know how it would hurt to drill into your bumper so they shouldnt pull you over for that anyways. If they own a Z and ticket you for having no plate then there a holes

Here's another solution...

A while ago I saw a dude with a nice BMW with no front plate and rear plates from a state that requires fronts. As I passed him (in my pre-Z days) I saw that he had a piece of paper in his windscreen stuck in the upper right corner in the gasket or something. It said 'LOST TAG: XXX XXX' on 8.5"x11" white printer paper, written in Sharpie marker. He even went as far as to write in the corners the info that would be on the tabs you get from the DMV every year. I noticed he had no front plate bracket...so when we got to the next light I got next to him, rolled down my window and shouted 'hey...does that work?' he smiled and said 'yea'.

If you have to have a front plate, just make a photo copy of it, laminate it, then "stick" it to the front bumper with a removable adhesive. Then, you can take it off when you want.

Velcro works also, no drilling, and it's removable.

Just photocopy the part with the letters and such, as the rest is just fluff anyway. Here, you don't have expiration tags on the front.

WOW, they did park very close to each other. I would love watching them getting out of their cars.
