Apparently you haven't paid much attention to the comments made by 350Z owners here toward the 370Z.

Don't take it too seriously, there has always been a level of jealousy, dis-like and animosity between the different generation Z owners and fans. It's natural and somewhat expected.

I acknowledge every Z I see, even rusted out Z31 models. I don't always get a response but i like Z cars of all generations - it's a tradition thing. Maybe it's because my club covers every gen including Datsun Roadsters. I joined the club as soon as I bought the 350 in '03 and was the first 350 in the club - was a bit apprehensive rolling up for the first cruise, believe me. Within two years there were probably a dozen 350's in the club, mostly existing members who "upgraded" (if you want to call it that) Nice thing is I get the chance to drive every generation out there - plenty of the crew will swap cars for a day if anyone wants.

 

Exactly. The 300zx crowd are major supporters of most of the prior Z cars. The 350z owners were the ones who lost the heritage. It is ironic that now they accuse the 370z owners of being the ones out of the loop. When I drove my TT, the 350z guys would ignore any signals or get mad.

 

So actually the 350 driver was a douchebag anyway and didn't even know the 370 owner had a 370. Yeah, sounds like a legit thread worthy of rehashing and discussing on another forum.

 

car enthusiasts are car enthusiasts. douchenozzles are douchenozzles. not hard to distinguish between the two, and pretty stupid to generalize that every owner of x/y/z generation of Z 'lost the heritage'

I blink or wave to the ones I see. We have a 300Z TT as my bro's and my 350Z. It's all about just being respectful. If I wave or blink and I don't get it back, I'm just like whatever...and enjoy the drive. One thing I will say is that the 350 is in a hard spot because it was the car that started it all again. Coming out in 03, it wasn't good enough for the Z32 TT and they were just like screw it it's a hunk of crap and so on and so on. But there's a lot of cool guys out there as well. Then the Z34 came out so it's the new hot thing on the block. The Z33 is just in a position where it's right in the middle now...but till this day it's just as bad *** when they first came out. As an 03 owner I still get people saying wow that car looks Brand new, I can't believe it's 7 years old.

 

 

Don't see why you guys care so much... Just because they drive the same car doesn't make them a friend. Ofcourse if someone in another Z waves me down or blinks i'll do the same out of kindness and because I just love the car but I could give a **** about who drives one.

so far i've seen about a billion 350Z's on the road and barely a 370. I think we've got them out numbered in case a fight breaks out.

 

Actually the few people that wave back to me was a 370...every time I see a 350 I'll wave but they usually don't pay attention...

 

i go on both 370z and 350z forums and the guys at 370z does not bash on any 350z. they love all z lines.

They were only bashing on the Dbag, not the car.

I know many of the members on that site personally and most of them were 350z owners as well.

This OP needs to read posts instead of skimming through things and overreacting.
