370Z Owners = No Respect for the Predecessor?
#61
All Z's are it. I've had the short lived 280Z, the 280Z, and now the 350Z. I think all the Z's are great vehicles. When I do my annual run I have Z's, G's, all models and more. We have 100 plus vehicles and everybody is really friendly and checking out each other cars. It's also normal to have a odd thinking person once in a while, but I am thankful none at my annual Carmel Valley/Pebble Beach Cruise I do each year in Sept. All show respect and it is a great time. Nobody's perfect in the world, that includes car lovers too, so apparently we just heard an example of 1 out of how many? Who knows. To each his own. "Long Live the Z"

Haven't had one bad run in with a Z owner yet
In fact, a 280Z came to my store just to comment on my Z and ended up topping off his tank and coming back later on in the afternoon just to ******** some more lol. Oh well.

I wave at Z owners if they acknowledge me as well. I'd say 50% of the time they look over to acknowledge 'hey look we are both driving Z's!' and at that point I'll wave or smile. Same with 300's but I hardly see any of the earlier generation. I have yet to have a 370Z owner wave back at me outside of meets lol. I look at them but they usually pay attention to their driving but I also think it is unfair to stereotype all owners of one generation. I've met great 370Z owners, shitty 350Z owners and so on.
Yesterday I was driving to Home Depot and in my area SMB is a pretty rare color on a Z which is the color I have, but I was driving and saw a SMB Z' behind me with a body kit and he followed me for like 2 miles. He changed lanes so I thought he would say hi or wave and I look over with a smile and hes still driving straight, doesn't even look over... I was heart broken

Well, I am a 370z owner, and last week I was on my way home from work and I see this d-bag. I thought to myself what at the a-hole. Sunglasses, driving a Z, he thinks he is all that. What a stupid.... uh oh - then I realized I was looking in the mirror. I start therapy on wednesday. I love all Z's. Actually, I really want a 240. I love em.

Theres always people that are overly cocky about their cars! I was in my Z at a light next to a guy in a red 300zx turbo, and I thought the car was very nice and I said "hey man, nice car, it looks really good!!" and I gave him a thumbs up. He just looked at me with the most cocky smirk like he was a badass and nodded his head like "yep I know" and revved his motor obnoxiously like he was in Fast and the Furious or something. lol makes me laugh

That's exactly why I give everyone the finger as a preemptive strike.

There are idiots in every walk of life... my previous life I owned Camaros.....
1st, 2nd and 3rd gen. The mud slinging continues the new Camaro gets crapped on regulary by earlier modle owner.
