the rims took damage? you said you hit the front and back, but often in accidents like those the rims come out damage free. before turning the car over to the insurance company put your old rims back on, or even buy a set of 17s if need be.
good luck, sounds like itll be totalled. then get an inspector to check out the airbags, there is a chance it just wasnt that serious to warrant them to deploy. also what 6 bags? Im only familiar with 2 front and 2 side. sides obviously I dont see deploying; no side impact.
front probably should have tho.

I have pictures, but I don't know how to post them.
If someone could help me out I'd appreciate it. I will send the pictures to who ever can do it.
Thanks.

If you were able to walk away like you did, then it's probably a good thing the airbags didn't go off.
You need a very severe head on or sideways accident for them to deploy, but it sounds like your accident was more of a glancing blow since you were spinning as you hit and therefore bounced off and hit again later. You were therefore decelerating over a very long distance instead of over a couple feet (like if it was a head-on accident).
Glad to hear you are OK, and I'm so sorry about the car.
Best of luck getting another Z or whatever vehicle you decide to go with. I've been seeing quite a few STi's and EVO's at the AutoX's lately, and those things seem pretty damn fast. RX-8's also looking good. Maybe you already considered all these since you just got the Z, but then again, maybe you can take some time to go on fun test drives.

The aftermarket rims are covered, but you only get the actual cash value of the rims. Meaning they likely will deduct depreciation or take betterment based on the age of the rims. You just have to prove when you bought and what you paid for them.

I totalled my G35 sedan about a month ago. At the time I had a number of aftermarket parts on it (Injen CAI, Eibach springs, aftermarket corner lights, Crawford plenum, 18" rims/tires). The impact of the accident destroyed one of the rims/tires, one of the springs, one of the corner lights, and the CAI.
What I found out was that because most of those things didn't actually cost more than the stock items they replaced (the stock G35 rims cost a hell of a lot if purchased from a dealer, the Eibach springs don't cost any more than replacing the stock ones at a dealership, etc), their adjustment for those items was a wash. In other words, I didn't get anything extra for them.
The good news is that because the car was so new at the time of the accident (3600 miles) my insurance company (USAA) actually paid me more for the car than it cost me to buy a new one and they included tax and registration in the payoff.
They also let me remove the Crawford plenum from the car and the rims/tires that were untouched. It was a pain having to reinstall a new set of Eibach springs on the new car (I told myself I wouldn't ever do that myself again--but I just couldn't bring myself to have someone else do it), but I wasn't injured.
Good luck. It sounds like other than some emotional wounds you are going to be fine. Your post brought back some not-so-happy memories so I wish you well.
One last thing... Call an attorney regarding the road.

I'm glad that you are okay. It doesn't sound like it's all your fault. Most likely they are going to total your car.
Damn....I think the insurance company will probably increase the premium to insure my car.![Frown](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I wish all Z drivers can be more careful so that we don't have to share their losses....and sadness.
