Hey, I just took my Z home, which was an awesome 12 hour drive. I have a full turbo kit, and going 65-85 mph constantly I got somewhere around 31 MPG which I thought was great. But today I was working on a cooling issue so I was driving really hard to get it to heat up and it said I was getting 6 MPG, LOL. So, in my opinion, Ten MPG in a city (driving hard) sounds normal. Hope that helps!
The last time I changed my battery, I went form averaging 18 MPG (that i've been getting for years) to 11 MPG and it gardually improved (11 MPG the first tank, 15 MPG the 2nd, etc.). I'm assuming the default ECU settings are very conservative and as it "learns", you get improved gas milage. Perhaps this is what's wrong, you may be stuck on a default ecu setting.
with normal city/highway driving, including some fun here and there, I get 21-25 mpg. I would poop myself if I got 10. Dont listen to anyone that says 10 can be normal unless you drive like Vin Diesel in F and F everywhere you go. "I like to live a quarter mile at a time"

lol thats the way i drive all the time and I average 23. Are you ranging this 10 from the digital display or you doing the math with how many gallons your putting of gas in the tank and seeing how many miles you go.......you either have to be sitting and revving up your motor, or just pour shifting and constant dragging of the foot between pedals

"granny shiftin' and not double clutchin' like you should"
its because of the stupid cobb map and your mods. return it to stock and you should see an increase, or get the car actually tuned instead of using a preloaded map

I dont think the Mods should cause that big of a drastic measure, i mean thats like a 60% reduction in gas mileage, I think It has a lot to do with the way he drives, i can see this guy going from stop light to stop light at 6500 rpms in first gear the whole time to show off his stock exhaust down town........saw it in a 2008 honda accord coupe, it was hilarious...........
