i had a friend who came up and asked "Is that a TT?!" obviously i denied it and explained it to him. then a few weeks later i went up to his place again and his dad was there and he said "Dad did you see his car? It's TT." all i could do is facepalm.

Had the porsche comment as well -

well not me directly, but was driving around with my buddy and his Z and we pulled up to a rest stop where a whole bunch of corvettes were parked, looking like they were out for a nice road cruise as well. Anyway, my buddy gets out and looks at this real nice C6 and comments to woman getting out "Nice vette!" And she replies, and I kid you not, "Thanks, but you're the lucky one! Driving around on roads like this in a Porsche must be fun."

My friend looks at her in disbelief, just says thanks, and walks away.

i told this kid the other day that black preludes are faster then white ones sad thing is he looked at me turned his head on an angle and said really his vocie also sqeeked while saying this btw he was sitting in his black prelude when i told him this

 

You know thinking about it, I went my cousins bday party and parked out front. I get out the car and some 13 year old skater dudes were like.. Oh my Porsche!...

Back when all I had done to my car was a drop and wheels. I walk into class and the girl I sat next to (who still to this day is the single most beautiful girl I've ever seen) looked at me and said "was that you in the blue porsche this morning?" I simply smiled and said yes.

Another one was the same day I put my ap exhaust and test pipes on.Some guy in the parking of best buy gets out of his truck and asked if it had skyline motor? wtf? After that he asked if it had over 400 hp and was extremely surprised when I said i wished had 300.

 

sheesh! so apparently the world thinks we drive porsches now. i might just slap on a porsche emblem to make it official then.

 

E relentless how do you say the quote of me liking trucks when i called them tards, and said the smoke stack exhaust is stupid????? I work as an Internet Manager for a GM and Ford Franchises here in STL, I know cars and trucks LOL, but that does not mean I like them. They just pay the bills so why not know everything about them

i actually looked at putting a small porsche badge or silhouette of a 911 on my little window after the comment the cop made bout me flying by in a "porsche", but then decided that I would get laughed at and made fun of my non-enthusiasts and people who dont get the joke

i was getting out of my car in a parking lot in front of where i used to work & another Z pulled in at the same time. an older lady & her husband got out and walked over to my car complimenting it. the lady turns around & yells at her husband smacks him && says, " I TOLD YOU TO GET THAT COLOR"

 

literally the same thing happened to me....except in my fx lol

some guy that knows nothing about 350z's was telling me about modding it back when I was stock:

"an intake and exhaust will put you around 360 hp to the wheels"

same kid talking about the mazda rx-8:

"it's a v6 so it responds to a turbo really good"

 

I've had about 10 different people talk about my "porsche" or ask if its a porsche.. I guess its most likely because my Z is a silverstone, track edition.

 

I did post a picture of my car and the Girl, But the girl one I deleted cause I was not sure what the rules of the forum are. Once moderator says its ok, I'll post it again. My car is posted check back a few pages ago.
