not sure if it would help or make a difference but a place online that sells volks could probably supply you or the insurance co. an invoice for replacement of the wheels to help better the valuation of your damages.

Got most of my receipts together. So many memories looking at them all . The mustang is my dads. 05 supercharged Saleen. Sadly I don't have receipts for my volks ;(.... <- that's me crying. I hope to get a vendor to print me out the prices and just hope for some percentage. Fingers crossed.

To be up-front, this could easily be totaled out by the Ins Co. Front damage is insanely expensive and it looks like there is damage down the entire side of the car. As for the wheels, Most Ins Co. will replace your wheels with new set if it is damaged beyond repair and they are not available any longer (considering its the other person's insurance covering the claim). But if they total it out they may go with a depreciated value for the wheels if any value is given to them. If they give it a good value ($15,000) and the officer's assessment is in the ball park, you're still in that 50-80% write-off area.

Good luck with it all.

***ing illegal U- turn makers. I crashed my previous car because of a woman's illegal u-turn making. Her fault 100% at the end.

Some people just need to use publioc transportation; glad you are okay and hope you get the car fixed soon. I've seen worst and by worst, i mean slide off a turn at the Tail Of The Dragon and slide down the hill (saved by a couple of trees)...

The guy was okay and aside a bruised ego, no broken bones or anything; the car is currently being repaired ands AFAIK, the Z is drivable.

Why is it that you only get 75% of the value of your INSURED property when you are paying 100% of the insurance premium?????

Because of depreciation.

thats a lot of damage...the rear quarter damage isnt fun to repair. Contact your insurance ASAP and inform them of everything, if you havent already. Her insurance should take care of the costs from there. I know youre probably devastated right now, but dont worry, it will all be better in a few weeks
