Wow yea most likely it will be totaled you should just let her ins company pay for your car, then part it out. Sue that skank you have up to 2 years after the accident to sue for any bodily injury. Especially some accident that you dont feel anything right away, it took me 2 months after an accident to actually get excrutiating back pain and then i went to get checked out and i have 2 herniated disk on my spine, the disk is pretty much pinching my nerve. I got 18,000 for that lawsuit plus the insurance payed for my car that was totaled. Go to a lawyer see what he says about your case.

Car is most likely totaled. Make sure that they give you the sales taxes back also (if you state charges sales taxes) along with all related fees for the total. Get checked out by a doctor asap to make sure you are ok and to also document that you went.

I got hit a month ago and they totaled my car. Gave me a fair price for the car plus cost of window tint and all taxes and fees. Going tomorrow to puchase another Nismo. Make sure you do your research on what the car is worth to have good ammunition if they try to low ball you.

What insurance did she have?

I'm making a list of everything you guys have suggested. Thank you. Still no word. I talked to the appraiser though, he said if the bags went off it doesn't look good. He hasn't visually seen the car yet, though. She has Geico.

I got news. The car is a total loss. Nationwide (my insurance) said my car was worth around 15800. They told Geico and Geico said the ladies coverage only goes up to 10k. A battle is now in progress between our insurance companies. Fan-f'n-tastic

Whaaat? I never knew you could put an amount like that (especially so low) on your insurance coverage. Pretty scary.

• Oklahoma 10/20/10
• Oregon 25/50/10
• Pennsylvania 15/30/5
• Rhode Island 25/50/25

• Washington 25/50/10
• Wisconsin 25/50/10
• West Virginia 20/40/10

Florida does have a minimum of $10K. Seems pretty low to me but hey, that it the state law. It is also a good reason to have under-insured motorist insurance.
