My dealer confirmed my delivery date today. Nissan has said Sept. 30, but all of the three he has received have come about 10 days early so it could be as early as Sept. 20! Good news for some of us east coasters.

 

May I ask what wax or sealant you plan to use on your Z? Just curious as to what detailers use on their own cars.

 

Not quite sure yet. One of the ones I mentioned in the Detailing Session 5: Waxing though.

 

I'm going against the crowd and giving Blackfire a try (based on your comments about it a while ago on zcar.com and subsequent research). Thanks again for all the detailing advice.

 

Sweet, mine was set to be delivered the 30th as well in Delaware. Looks like it might be here earlier.

Chapman, or I think they are called sheridan now. I actually stoped there today, they had a blue base modle in the lot, sold of course.

My Daytona Blue base was delivered last Friday. Sheridan Nissan They have been keeping it in the shop until I pick it up around Noon Wens. I would like to keep in contact with other 350Z owners in the DE area. E-mail Kevca2LLi@aol.com They sold the Chrome silver model on lbor day that a customer backed out of. If you have an order in I'll gladly show you the car. There are a few things Nissan did not tell you. Like the back brakes are vented I don't know if that is a first but I have never seen that before.Well I have to clean the garage out to make room!

 

I saw your car today, they had it out in front of the shop. Don't worry they didn't let anyone in it. Your car was the first Z i've seen in person, very nice. I'm still waiting for my proformace chrome silver, hopefully soon..

I got to see 2 in NY on friday a touring model sunset and a track red one paint on front bumper of the touring was that orange peel you hear about. It was parked right next to a 95 300zx TT so you could compare.

 

Put 500+ miles on s far. Nisan lied it gets better than 26 mpg on the highway.
