Here's yet ANOTHER fun option!!

I fit a bike, an umbrella, and a teddy bear in there...with room to spare..hell yea!!

Default Saris Bike Rack

Saris makes a couple rear racks that fit the z:

This is the Sentinel 3 on my car (sorry, not the greatest pic).


Cost was about $60. It sits on the bottom of the hatch and on the license plate. You also need to get two additional straps to replace the original z-hook straps to attach through the top of the hatch. They're also made by Saris and called Hatch Holder. That was about $12.

I've used it a few times, including on a 320 mile trip. Works fine, although straps needs occasional tightening, like most racks do over long distances.

Finding an affordable bike rack for my car was not easy. Hopefully this will help you guys.

Thanks for posting the review & photo of the Saris rack. The Hunchrack fits well on my Z, but I haven't driven enough miles to really give it a review. I'll try and some pics and post a review once I get some miles on it.

Apparently Z owners are not the only sports car enthusiasts in this predicament:
