Where do you get an oil change for $14?

i am dismayed @ your willingness to allow moron failures to operate your motor vehicle, let alone change your oil.

this was bound to happen given the circumstances.

you will get played here if you don't get the deal in writing, especially when the person that pays the bills realizes how much one of the $12/hr service junkies spent when your bumper got raped.

Bondo + rattle-can = your new bumper.

Offer to source your own. In the mean time I would find a local attorney just in case.

Oh they probably found one and were unwilling to pay the price. This is exactly what Jason warned you of. I would put them in contact with a vendor here that has one and tell them to fix it right. Mark my words, this is the beginning of a hack job.

yes tell them where you got the bumper, your own source, and have them deal with the price. you are giving them the source of your bumper so finding the bumper will be no excuse, they did the damage they will have to pay.

I'd tell them that's complete B.S. There's numerous websites that sell that bumper.

A couple 2"x6" boards under a wheel will let you get the jack under it. I have to do that with my Nismo, at stock height, there is no way I can get a jack under the skirts to lift the car without damaging anything. Drive the car up on two pieces of wood, gives almost 4" more ground clearance.

Much safer than letting the dealership **** up your car.

I miss cooper nissan on william penn highway. We always got exceptional service and great deals on the cars. I am sad that kelly bought them out. The new location of kelly is beautiful compared to the old location of cooper nissan. However, the service at Kelly is just average and whenever we went to buy a car they were never motivated to really make a sale We wanted to buy a new xterra and they had none of the lot. We told them what we wanted, and saw they had the exact one we wanted at rothrock. We gave kelly a nice deposit and was told we would have the car in a week (and they could get it for us). A week later they told us they couldn't get the one from rothrock or any within 100 miles. Terrible since we were looking for a 2010 SE in black (xterras come with basically no options; the package determines what comes with it so it is relatively easy to find the one you want). On nissans website we located over 8 within that radius. So we went over to rothrock to try and purchase it and they were not willing to make a good deal and would barely budge from sticker.

However, I would talk to the manager and tell him how you are a loyal customer, you liked this dealership in the past and have always been served well. However, elegantly tell him you are willing to try out kelly next time since you are not satisfied. Use a little leverage of the competition to see if he will budge on giving you the $$ of the bumper and paint or see if you can point them in the direction of a vendor and to order from that vendor for them on their account.

This next part depends on your ethics and morals. So only do this is you like to. Also, tell him that you (or your significant other, im not sure how old you are lol) are interested in a new nissan but you arent sure you would buy it from rothrock since you're not satisfied with how you were serviced. I can guarantee he will try to make things right with your car so help ensure a future sale.

Yes sir you said it perfectly, I am the Internet Sales Manager at Weir outside Saint Louis on the IL side. Basically bring in the information about your bumper the price where to buy it etc. Tell them you brought in a pristine 350z, and you got back a broken bumper pile of crap. Tell them you and your wife are looking at new altima coupes for her, and you are going elsewhere after you resolve this. Also if you can bring in a friend in a suit, pretending he's a lawyer to have a witness and take more pictures. That well get the job done, i promise you that.

David - BUDDY. BUDDY. BUDDY.

At this point I think you need to consider filing a small claim for a new
bumper, refinish/repaint, car rental, etc.

If you wanna do a conference call I'd be willing to help.

Do you have a point of contact which is willing to speak to you?

What was said exactly when they called you back?

Are you comfortable with them repairing your previously perfect front end?

Their negligence is the proximate cause of the damage - however, did you
take photos of the damage and get anything in writing while it was on site?

Did you get a police report? Go ahead and get one if not. GO down to the
dealer tomorrow and call the cops. Get the police report there.

This may be an issue as I am not familiar with PA state law regarding accident
scenes....

This should get the dealer on their toes and demonstrate that you mean business
at the very least.

Keep us posted.

I LOVE THIS ISHT.
