Honda enthusiast...new to Nissan

OP, I would look into a newer 350z (07+) with the HR engine since it makes more power, and avoid the base models because they dont have TCS or a limited slip diff. I would also avoid the NISMO unless you want the ricey body kit.

They make a great product just like the majority of Japanese vehicle manufacturers. It's fine if you dislike the people that drive them because many of them are indeed odd , but I'm curious as to your reasoning concerning why you hate Honda itself.
OP, buy a Z. 2007+ If you want to keep it relatively stock, 2005- if you want to mod the **** out of it. Parts are cheap for the DE platform and quite abundant, not so much yet for the HR. If you have the coin go for the 370, but a NISMO is just not worth it unless you go drooly over the body kit.

I say what too you bro!
due to the price of a honda the wrong hands have gotting a hold of them...
I'm still a honda lover at heart!
if I could find an alright frame I'd be flying pass your a$$ in a '91 CRX Si by two or more car lenghts...
FACT
HONDAs are great cars, as of late not really....
get a Z OP you won't regret.... a used 07/08 for under $22,500 is the best bang for the buck on the market with out looking like a flying brick i.e. WRX/EVO

the difference tho is honda ricrs have these slow *** rides and think its fast or something. like they truly believe their cars are the bomb cept the sleeper ones. the z ricers unfortunately have bad taste but they got the z motor lol. so its like slow ricers vs fast ricers lol

I do not see this guy coming back to post, but......
NSX...wasnt the nsx the 1st vtec powered car? I think it was.
NSX has the same motor that the Acura CL 3.2 has. Just worked up a tad diff.
I have 2 customers with NSX's and i like driving them. The one guy is "6,7" and all he did was put in some racing seats to accommodate him. And i believe they were under 2 g's. Besides if you get the Z and start to "hook" it up i am 100% positive that you'll be spending 2g's regardless.
All in all its up to you. Get the NSX to scratch a # off your Bucket list. Get the Z so we don't read your complaints about getting an NSX.
If you do get the Z let me be the 1st to welcome you.

What is the difference?...............Honda makes Acura, and they all have the same Engines.
Honda Odyssey 3.2----Acura TL 3.2 -------NSX 3.2 Stick, and 3.0 Auto 3.0 shares with the accord! OooooooHHhhhh
Honda Accord 3.5------Acura TL 3.5
Honda Accord 2.4------Acura TSX 2.4
Civic si 2.0 ------------Acura RSX 2.0
Only diff is the RDX 2.3 comes Turbo!

VQ35DE kills any every honda Ive ever onwed. HR would be a bonus. From what I understand the 370 isnt THAT much faster for the buck. Dont have first hand experience though. hmmm... *off to youtube
