Default HP of last model Z?

What was the horsepower of the 91-96 Twin Turbo?

Would the 350z with no mods be able to beat one of these older models?

Supposedly, per Nissan, this Z will be the fastest ever. I don't know if they mean 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, or top speed.

My friend had a 300ZX, twin turbo, automatic! and it was really pretty damn fast. Giving it some gas on the highway rapidly resulted in look-around-quick-to-check-for cops speeds.

The 1990-1995 Twin Turbos had 300hp.

The 1996 Twin Turbo had 280, due to emission control changes.

Not sure offhand on the torque figures...

300 hp.

Nissan has said that the 350 will be the fastest Z ever, what they mean exactly by fastest I dunno. I'm betting that the 350s will drive better than the 300zxtt's overall, and the acceleration will be close. Nissan is always improving their lines of cars, as far as I know. When someone turbocharges a 350 then it will be better than a stock 300tt in every quantifiable(sp?) way. The total price of a 350 + turbo kit would probably be close to a what a 300tt retailed for too. I'm assuming there will be a turbo kit. I dont mind being an ***, do you? I apologize in advance if you mind.

The '92 (and I guess therefore the other years as well) were 300 HP (@6400 rpm) and 283 lb-ft (@3600 rpm) EXCEPT with the automatic transmission, which were only 280 HP (same torque).
