what??? you guys pay a quarter for that?? thats a rip off! haha!

funny thread.

im not siding on anyone, coz i think both sides are funny.

let it go, theyre young and stupid...like you guys have never been there. let it go.

let them make mistakes so that they can learn from it. no need to get agitated over something you have no control over.

And I was gonna move on to a BMW but changed my priorities recently I dont want to rent I live at home as well but just got into my industry and pay rent and my parents utilities bill. We have a large house so i got the basement. I have been saving and am gonna put my money into a 2 family home and rent out the other section. I dont care anymore about having a better car that will come with a couple more years. The Z is good for now. When i make some good cash and get this home with the extra income helping on the mortgage and bills then maybe ill move on. In about 3 years I should be making enough money to drive pretty much any of the cars im looking at now and in 10 yrs maybe ill be on the forums with you guys talkin about my Porsche Turbo or something lol.

There obviously making more than you. We dont hate young owners, we just hate the ones that come on this forum acting badass with their riced out Z's that their parents bought them. Also that you raise our insurance by wrapping your car around a tree or some chit. Just dont get all cocky and dont mention your a teen...

i'm a very reserved individual, and obviously a generation before ours started this taboo of young drivers being bad drivers so dont put the blame on us, and ive never seen a younger driver be disrespectful to a older z driver on the streets at least. I feel this site is run by older men so all the older guys can say and do what they want to the younger owners and thats not chill. If i make a thread talking about older drivers income or driving records itll get locked. Actually ive only gotten one ticket for one of my passengers not having a seat belt and i got rear ended once in my old nissan pathfinder, so i am not to blame for higher insurance rates for u guys and ive had my license almost 4 years now.

your thread got locked because it was a repost, also no one is blaming you as being a bad teen, even though ur not a teen if you have had your license for 4 years. But other than that, the people on this forum have witnessed teens ricing their cars, wrapping them around tree's and trying to act bad *** and it gets really annoying after awhile and its just tiring to see all this garbage.

So yes I should be able to get a loan and buy a house by the time im 29, and hopefully have a used G37 as my daily then and a very fast 2006 350z for the weekend...

so i was wondering seriously if the older more experienced members could give me some advice, what should my next mod be. Ive got exhaust, intake, plenum spacer, im gonna get wheels and bbk at the end of the year, but what more performance wise????

There is a whole thread on what people make and a poll of what the average person on this board makes per year. The average is fairly high, so I doubt that few if any that responded are still going to school. They would have to have quite a part time job...like performing surgery in your spare time.

The thing young people on here are not taking into consideration is that there may not be any jobs if and when you graduate. Currently the US has record unemployment and it seems to be pretty much across the board in all fields.
That would mean you have to live at home longer....unless pops loses his job and you all have to move to the rescue mission.

The site IS being ran by older men. Remember, the Z use to be an older gentleman's car when it first came out. February 2003, I paid $40k for the Touring model. You wouldn't have seen many teens in that car at the time. The only reason why young men such as yourself are in the car now is because of the amount of years it's been on the market and depreciative value. That's the only reason.

It's not a taboo my friend, it's an observation...

so the younger kids of last generation were the bad drivers and the new generation of kids are excellent drivers and you are being unfairly profiled as a bad driver?
