I bought my first car right before I turned 16. I am 21 right now and bought the 350Z about 3 months ago. A lot of cars in a short period of time. I love the Z car though and will probably always own at least 1.

1993 Nissan 300ZX TwinTurbo (totalled)

How about this for a 16 y/o; I got a brand new Corvair Monza Spyder (145 cu/in) on my 16th birthday. Silver blue with 4 speed, positraction, heavy duty suspension and sintered metallic brakes.

I had never driven stick shift. My dad took me around the block in it once and I was on my own.

You figure what year that was.

1990 - P.O.S. Hyundai Excel (totaled)
1991 - Another P.O.S. Ford Taurus
1993 - '90 Honda CRX (loved this car back then)
1996 - '95 300ZX
2000 - '00 Xterra
2004 - '04 350z

So looking at my current trend...I should be buying another Nissan in 2008

In high school I bought an '86 Dodge Colt hatchback, which I paid $500 for.
Then traded that for a Dodge Shadow
Got rid of the Shadow and got into a '98 Saturn SL2
Traded that for a Cadillac CTS (which had tps problems )
And now I'm a proud owner of a 2004 350Z touring

I'm 23 yrs old and bought each and every car listed above with my own hard earned cash. I appreciate the car more when I buy it.

I'm eighteen, and I bought my Z straight out with money I earned over the past three years, and the money I'll be earning over the next five. Making hasty generalizations makes you seem like an ignorant kid.

Im 17 and i got an 05 350z... My frist car was a dodge darango that my grandma gave to me and my mom when she passed away. So me and my mom shared that untill recently i saved up enough to start making payment on a 350z.. MY first real car. my mom didnt put any money on it and doesnt help with the payments.. I dropped out of regular high school in the 10th grade and started doing alternative learning where i only go once a week and take a bunch of hw home to do over the week.. So since i have all that time aweek i got a job and have been working very hard for my car
I dont like to let people know im 17 and drive a 350z because NO MATTER what there gonna judge me and think mommy bought it for me and im this little spoiled kid.. Which aint true I work for everything i got and i think its sad that kids my age dont even know what its like to have a job and still drive around in a 350z

first car when i was 16 was a 94 chevy short wide single cab truck. I modded the **** out of it for show. Chrom everything billet interior the works. I spent all my money on this. Sold it for about 2 k above what it was worth without the xtra's. Bought my first new vehicle at 18 a 2003 silverado SS. I loved that truck. In some ways wish id have kept it. Ive been blessed to have a good job that will work around my schedule and pay very well. Im a welder fabricator i work my *** off. Then about 8 months ago i decided my daily commute was killing me in gas. So i took the truck in traded her in on a brand new silver alloy 06 350z and i think that was the best decision of my life .

1968 ford galaxy custom 500 2dr (Paid $200 in 88 ) First car was older than I was! (15 yrs)

1967 chevelle stationwagon (Paid $800 in 90) -had a 327, was actually kind of quick for such a heavy beast) 2nd car older than I was too. (18yrs)

1990 Nissan Sentra (stripped model, didn't even come with AC) (First car loan, financed $5,600 in 91) I owned this car until I got my Z, late in 04. (19yrs)

From 96 to 03 my ex-wife was the only one getting new cars. (I did get to drive them though)

9? Kia sephia (13k-ish?)
01 Sentra SE (16K-ish) I liked this little car. kind of quick, decent handling.
03 Altima SE (24k-ish) This was faster than the 01' Sentra in a straight line but I liked the 01' Sentra's handling a lot more.

And of course...

05 350Z Base (25,800 brand new! October, 2004)
05 Dodge Magnum RT (loaded) (<40k in the middle of 05')
