No matter what it still is his hard earned cash. He owes nothing to his parents. Its a parents job to support their kid in every way possible. Atleast he didn't ask for the car he got a job and that shows responsibility. Parents shouldn't see raising and paying for their kid a burden or something that has to be paid back. They chose to have a kid. You just seem spiteful because you didn't get the same luxury he has.
I say, Congrats on the future Z Raggae420. Just drive it safely and don't race in the streets. Your parents obviously care enough to let you do whatever you want with your money, dont make them regret it. Take care

When you're young, you mow the grass, do the laundry or clean the house with the parents. If you start making money, you can contribute that as well. What kind of kid gives nothing back to their parents and feels as though all the money they earn should only be theirs when their parents sacrifice so much?
Sorry, that mentality is major fail.

I absolutely could not possibly disagree more. A good responsible kid will help their parents out as much as possible. While parents should be financially capable of raising a kid, that doesn't mean the kid should just take all he can. I would NOT let my kid grow up with that mentality. Once you have the ability to work, you owe responsibility to the family. You're a member of the family, you contribute.

Maybe I'm old school, but I find the whole thing really self centered.
