my parents dont help me with $ for cars anymore, im 18 , my a/c was out on the Z , and i was driving around in the heat for four weeks , till i finally came up with enough $ to fix it.....so worth it though...finally , cold a/c! lol

 

Im only 23 but I can relate to those who are complaining or at least voicing their opinion of 17 yr. olds giving the Z a bad name. My father bought my first car for me when I was 13, it was a 1956 VW beetle for $2500. He told me it was mine and I could work on it as long as I kept my grades up. By the time I was old enough to drive Hurricane Jeanne hit Florida and took her from me. We purchased a 1967 VW and I drove that until I moved to college and I received a 2000 VW for college. I proudly NOW own a 2005 Z and I am making the payments each month and I tell you what, there is no greater feeling than knowing it's YOUR car. I love this car and I look forward to driving it EVERY DAY! Thanks for this post and I hope these KIDS that get these cars learn to appreciate them and to not keep jacking OUR insurance rates up by wrecking and either injuring themselves or worse killing people in the process.

 

WoW so half the guys on here didnt pay for their first car it was inexpensive kinda like me so y all the hating instead of helping a young owner out becuase last time i checked both of my cars were hand me downs from my dad that i worked to keep up on the car
EX:96 R33 dad brought from 1 of his soldiers for $4500 than brought another R33 for himself so his me nd my sister could have cars i also worked at Meddac to pay for gas and maintence on cars
2nd Ex:97 blazer dads previous car given to me worked at sonics
So y all the bashing if i blessed by god to have good health and fortune
