Meh, it really wouldn't be hard to admit that my parents bought it, but they didn't. I'm just sick of everyone assuming that the car either isn't mine, or that my parents bought it for me. I'm really not one of these spoiled teenagers, and I've worked hard to get where I am.
Funny how every kid your age says that. Guess what, you didn't buy ****.

When I just turned 19 my dad helped me out buying my Z. He figured its better I make payments to him rather than a bank so I wouldnt lose my car if I fell behind on payments. Im not ashamed to admit that was the case and I appreciate that he helped me out. I dont get why kids now need to act as if they do everything on their own. People who man up and admit things get more respect than those who try to BS their way through things whether its stupid or not.

I work 5 jobs and work 80 hours a week while doing 24 credits per semester to earn my 3 Ferraris.

Ah you guys are way too prejudiced in the way you think of the younger generation. Yeah, there are MANY irresponsible kids my age, and frankly it pisses me off when kids that aren't deserving have parents that go out and buy them anything they want. But Just because I'm 19 doesn't mean I'm irresponsible with my money. And I'd be happy if my parents had decided to help me out with my Z, but they weren't willing to do a single thing to help me. Like I've said, I have worked hard to get to where I am, and now I make more than my parents do. Don't be so cliche in your thinking.

I almost respected you for that until you said you make more than your parents.....ss# for proof?

Well I work between 50 and 60 hours a week, and I make more than my mom and step dad, but not my real dad. And why would that lose any kind of respect...?
If my teenage kid made more than me, I would have to re-evaluate my career.
Jesus, you make it sound like I'm thirteen or something. I'm a couple months away from 20. Does the two decades mark mean automatic acceptance into the Z community or something...?

Where do you work? Whats your hourly pay? Pay stubs and SS# to confirm? You lose respect because you make it seem like you are higher than your parents thats why. EVEN if you somehow do make more than they do which is a longshot:
#1) its nothing you should bring up
#2) if it werent for them, if you did accomplish that you shouldnt brag because without them you wouldnt be around to be capable of that.
You should respect your parents not try to make yourself seem like you are above them which you are doing.

I don't care how old you are, but if my son was almost 20 made and made more than me, I would worry about my career choices. Obviously you are not a doctor or a professional yet, so I would have to assume you don't make much money. It just seems strange and has nothing to do with acceptance into the Z community.
