This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate...
Lets see...
At 16 years old - 1995 Saturn SL2
At 17 - 1999 Ford Ranger made off road ready
At 18 - 2005 Kawasaki Ninja
At 19 - 2004 Ford Focus
Also at 19 - 2004 Nissan 350z(Bought it last month, turn 20 next month)
Still have the Ninja, Focus, and of course the 350
And since this thread is about "showing all of the 17 year olds what its like to actually work up to and earn a Z or any other sports car" let me explain how I have 2 cars and a bike at 19. I sold my Ranger and joined the Marine Corps at 17. Saved all the money I could, bought a bike, which I've been wanting for forever. Bought my gf the Focus earlier this year, saved some more, and put a down payment on the 350z last month. So I'd say I worked my way up to buying my sports car. It may not have been as many years, but how many 17 year olds are signing up to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan and are working 60+ hours a week?

well when i was 16 I had a little job and saved up a little to buy a 1991 nissan 240sx fastback for $1,500 lol. drove it all through highs school, and kept working. When I graduated my dad agreed to help me buy a 03 350z. which i luckily found for $10,500
Oh you better watch out buddy. Your gonna be hated on cause your 19 with a nice car. People on these forums don't do well with 'youngins' and nice cars, regardless of wether you paid for it or not

So much for that theory.
You didn't pay for ****. Your parents bought you all 4 of those cars, please don't take credit for **** you didn't do.
I'm 20. Started out with a handmedown 02 Grand prix GTP when i was 16 that i proceeded to mod and get into the low 13's. Then paid my parents the worth of the car to make it mine when i was 18. After I graduated high school bought my 07 Ranger and have had it since last June. Now trying to sell it and will be buying a Z most likely in a few months.
