this thread has been thouroughly entertaining, but im gonna run a test to see if everybody who says theyre young gets flamed on this site. i am 20 years old. i bought my 2004 z 3 months after my 20th birthday and have had it for 7 months now. my parents bought me my first car when i was 17 years old (also when i got my license...lame) it was a 1999 ford escort zx2 that they paid $1550 for. after one year my friend was borrowing the car and totalled it, i used the little bit of insurance money and bought a 2003 hyundai tiburon gtv6 6 speed which i owned for 18 months and then traded it for my z. now is it bad that i have had any of these cars at a fairly young age?
not at all man, im 23 now and when i was 17 my parents bought me a 1984 camaro z28 for 1200.00 lol. It got hit in the back when i was at a stop sign and totalled, so i used that money and some of my own to buy a mitsu 3000gt then sold that to buy a eclipse gst. Then that got smashed into buy a ******** in an suv who was speeding and went our of control in the rain and i got liek 7 k out of insurance for it when i only paid 4k for it. I used that to buy a 97 audi a4 1.8t...hated it...gave it ot my sister bc she needed a car and used money i saved from working over the course of like 3 years form 17-20 to buy my 03 tourign Z lol. I dont think theyre talkign about ppl liek us who get 12-15 hundred dollars for a car as our first car. theyre talkign about these douchey kids who have parents buy them 20-30k dollar cars as their first cars and feel the need to brag about how they do it all on their own when everyone knows their full of **** lol

my name is michael...i got my Z about 17 days before i turned 18....and i earned every bit of it...i work part time at discount tire and saved up 3k during the summer for a down payment... i bought a 2005 yellow enthusiast 350z for 15k. with my parents credit of course...im paying for the gas insurance and i make my own payments...so dont stereotype teens with Z's. come i earned it!
