This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate...
If you guys think you can win this argument your not. There is no point in arguing or posting your opinion.
If a kid is given, rewarded,or if they Actualy bought the Z. Then there is nothing you guys can do but watch them and just nod your heads.
A reason why they dont want teens to have a Z is because i would say 90% of teens drive reckless which cause accidents. Im not saying Fully Adults dont do it but they tend to have more organization and expierence.
It also makes us Z DRIVERS look BAD.
It is hard to watch your actions. I know from expiernce but if you cant handle the Z 95% of the time you should trade your car in. "Speed kills"
In my opinion think there is no age limit for a Z as long as you be careful and be reponsible.
One thing i do advise for young drivers is if you do want respect from us. Then your going to have to prove that your reponsible for your actions and decisions on the streets.
p.s
I have no problem with Kids who do great in school and behave and are rewarded with automobiles.. i love it.. i would do the same for my son in a heartbeat.. but please don't try to compare paying for mods and other stuff out of your pocket with a person who doesn't live at home with hardly any expenses.. its not the same situation.
More power to you though.. seem like a good kid with his head on his shoulders.. just don't get cocky with it.. because personally.. i respect the 26 year old kid driving a civic with his own apartment and paying his own bills than the 17 year old buying mods and paying for his cell phone but still lives at home.. no offense

but same engine....lol. But I do understand your point on respect. I would respect myself more If i payed for my car myself.....etc.Mr. Baker, obviously you are unaware of the fact that XlopezX has been a plague to this forum for quite some time now, and for him to get owned on such an epic scale is something worthy of the entire population of this community to stand up from our computer chairs, and just do the happy dance for a good 15 seconds. so just keep your snide little remarks to yourself.
( BTW i am apart of the younger crowd, and this thread made me rethink my life.)

The reckless driving is a good portion of it, but I also hate seeing cheap mods that belong on a Civic on a Z and thats all most of these brats can afford. Unless they claim someone elses. There is also in most cases, but not all, no appreciation for something that is handed to you and it shows with their attitude.
As far as respect, the ones on here that prove to be responsible get it. They make up a small percentage though
