This pertains to the "17 year olds getting Z's" debate...
my name is michael...i got my Z about 17 days before i turned 18....and i earned every bit of it...i work part time at discount tire and saved up 3k during the summer for a down payment... i bought a 2005 yellow enthusiast 350z for 15k. with my parents credit of course...im paying for the gas insurance and i make my own payments...so dont stereotype teens with Z's. come i earned it!
can I ask how much your payments are?

Would you have a Z if not for your parents help. No you would not. So what happens if by chance you lose your source of income? Do you lose the car and your parents credit goes down to tube or do they bail you out to save their credit. Why do you feel the need to tell everyone your not spoiled? Nice Z BTW
i clearly stated that i got the car with my parents credit...therefore i am acknowledging the fact i needed their help....and if i lose my job i get another one...and i state that im not spoiled cuz i work at discount tire. not exactly a cup cake job...i work my butt off for my money.
yeah im not gona rice my Z out nor will wreck it...i freaking love my car more than anything and i will drive it responsibly cuz if i get a ticket, i get my car taken away and i will still have to make my 315 a month payments plus my higher insurance.

Ya, part time. Let's not make it out to be any more than it is.
Just acknowledge that without your parents, the car would not be in their driveway, and that it's really THEIR car since it's on their credit, and we're cool....
Oh, and they purchased the extended warranty for you.
Who's insurance, please????
Quote fail FTL..... *shows shame*

and IF i lose my job then i go to next discount tire which is 10 miles farther down and my good friend is assistant manager which means more than likely i can get hired. if that fails i go to firestone where another good buddy of mine is the lead tech and etc etc etc... so i have backups.

Congrats on the car kid, I'm sure you'll be fine. But if you like this site and want to stick around, take your flaming a little better than that, we all go through it for one reason or another. Calling people here idiots won't help your cause. Good luck!!
Wow, I realize you're working part-time because you're in High School, I was referring to you claiming that constitutes "working your butt off". To you, I'm sure it is, but the majority of us here are full time career employees, so you telling us this is a little silly.
Try having a career (not a job) that can not be replaced so easily, being married, owning a home, having a couple of kids, going back to get your masters degree. Not to mention having real bills.
Just saying...

This is a valid point kid. If you think going to high school and working part time doing something as simple as changing tires is "busting your ***" then you are in for a world of pain when your ***** drop and you become a man.

Wait till the real world hits kid. Hell wait till college. High school was a cake walk in comparison
