I made $18.50 when I was hired, and now I make almost 25/hr. For 20 yr old that’s not bad... I do go to collage at night since I work 40+hrs a week, slowly but surly I'm working towards a degree. I make more than most ppl my age, and yes they may get a degree faster than me but ill get mine over time.
The average letter carrier makes $50,000 t0 $65,000/yr depending. And I f you get into supervisory you can make up to $85,000 or more. Not millions but a comfortable income. And if you stay employed for 30-50 yrs

As you can see, i'm earning as much as an equivalent of an associates - bachelors.

The USPS is GOVERNMENT OWNED, BUT NOT GOVERMENT RAN. Meaning my paycheck comes only from customer profit, not by the gov. I am still a government employee...
And I won’t make millions working for the USPS, but I can live comfortably and provide for my family in the future. It is a career not a job.

And as far as "supervisory" goes, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen either - you have to be able spell more than just your name to get to that level, and around here, the jury is still out on that. Oh, and what 'family" gets all those marvelous "benefits" as a result of your employment

Very short history for me-
00 Camry hand-me-down when I went to university. I've been saving up here and there since I was in high school, so when I ran the yota into the ground after 3 years I had enough for a Z with some help from my folks considering I have a partial scholarship.
So now, 07 PPW Touring 350Z. This thing only cost 20 and had 24k miles which I consider brand-friggin new for a car like this.
