It's not just the 17 year olds that are irresponsible, i'm pretty sure the older guys drive "reckless" and have done things to put others in danger.

It has nothing to do with how old you are, it how responsible you are.

This is a forum the point is to discuss the car that we all love, who cares young guys own it.
Statistically, teenage males get into more "trouble" with driving recklessly than any other demographic (leading cause of death too).

Here is a link from the CDC.....http://www.cdc.gov/motorvehiclesafet...factsheet.html

Myself being a parent, I do not find these stats funny in anyway.

all in all, who cares. If the kid or his/her parents buy them a Z or any car for that matter its on them. Less people worry about everyone else and start worrying more about there own lives things would be much better.

Exactly. You can get a Z for 10grand. You guys act like it's a lambo and has 500hp. Kids have 350z and their parents bought it Who cares?

If you have a stupid kid they are going to wreck regardless what they are driving. It's up to the parents to teach your kid how to drive.... Thats why they get a learners permit. I don't see why people make such a big deal about kids driving Z's? They could do the same thing driving a Mustang or a Lexus.

I do worry about my families life when I have to share the road with inexperienced drivers. Do you have children/family that you take care of? Most people that have an "I do not care" attitude, until something happens, then people start caring.

Why not spread the word to the 16 year olds that have Z's and tell them they need to be safe when they drive and not to under estimate the car instead of bashing them? Just wondering?

Maybe so but there is nothing anyone can do about it. And the kid certainly isn't going to say hey mom, dad I dont want this car. I guess someone could pass a law restricting age to a rated HP on a car Lol. But like I said before they could have a beat up FWD car and go flying down the street at 100MPH and kill several people you can't do anything about it. Accidents happen one way or another either mis judgement or just plain stupidity.

Lets get it straight then guys. Its not so much the children that we have to worry about. Its the parents who are raising them that we should focus on.

example, i have a customer whose son told him that he would kill himself if they did not buy him an M3. Of course they bought it for him and he never drove it due to college. Now i heard my father tell this guy at one point when he told my father the story that if i had said something like that to him he would of handed me the loaded gun.

If the kids are raised by morons then the kids themselves become morons. Sure one in a blue you get a kid that thinks for themselves but how rare is that in a "dumb America" now a days??

Focus on the teachings of the child and all shall be solved. ( with the exception of the PUNK here and there.)

My old 1985 Buick La Sabre could do 100mph, but I gurantee I'd be more dangerous in my Z...

Who cares, the kids have Z's. I agree, this thread should focus that the kids should be responsible and respect the car.

You can't do anything about it so give it up.

Very true. But I bet if you were a kid and your dad had a baseball bat with your name on it if you ever wrecked the Z, you would drive that bish like it was a buick.
