I don't have a Z yet, but
1. 1989 Oldsmobile 88 Royale Brougham. Paint was flawless. Bought it for $1700. Sold it for $1650.
2. Used the money to buy a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Fedspec. I play on keeping this car until I'm out of college. Then I will be getting a Z.
I am young, but have paid for all my cars by myself through hard work.

2003 350z 6sp (my dad got it at an amazing price) $10,000
and let me tell you I love my Zs. As in trying to get girls with the 350z,
I can get em even with the 280zx. You dont need a car to get girls
all you need is the looks ; )

I just turned 19.
04 Jaguar X-type- 5spd (parents bought it for me for 21k)
08 350z- bought it myself with money I received in a settlement after being in a car accident in my friends car. (kind of cheating, but at least my parents didn't buy it)

Topics like these are so stupid. Why does anyone have to explain to anyone on a forum how they paid for there car and if they pay any other bills? The outcome will still be the same, they will have there Z regardless of what you have to cry and moan about. Some of you really have small ego's.
