on a semi related note... down in South America.. car theft is serious stuff. ppl put flame thowers on the driver and passanger side right under the chassis. so when some one tries to break in... your toast.. literally. i saw a video on it but i can't remember what site it was... south americans got some crazy "anti-theft" devices

Do a lot of guys on here have cats removed? I know its "illegal" but people get away with it pretty easy it seems. Is that the case? If you take off the cats, do you HAVE TO get test pipes to replace them?

Whooo hooo! I get to bring an old dead thread back to life.
I saw these in Super Street or one of those types of mags and thought, "I have GOT to get me one of them!"
I could have used it yesterday when some jerk in a rented diesel truck in front of me kept holding his brake and reving the engine to produce huge black clouds of diesel dirt that settled all over my car. I would have loved to see the look on his face when I got in front of him and lit the flame throwers...

Are they legal? I read in the fine print that they are only to used at car shows and such. Any truth to this? Anyone gotten any tickets?
Dont worry, I am not into flame throwers? Anything that has real performance, I am all for it.

haha no i dont think they are legal.
anyways i dont feel very safe running fuel from my gas tank through my exhaust system and lighting it with a spark plug.
infact i dont want to put a spark plug close to my fuel tank.
