Flame Throwers?
Does anybody have these? My friend has them on his supra TT and even though they put out the fast and furious vibe, i like em. My question is, does anyone know if they affect the performance of the exhaust? Anyone know a good place to get them? They have some on horsepowerfreaks.com but there may be other places with better prices. Thanks

Hey hey dont stir the pot!:P lol
Nah I think he's serious, is'nt it like those flameout kinda effects if the engine backfires on those high performance rally cars, I guess the racers have them for effects now.
"It seems that wildone is the "flame" thrower here."

No! I know many people that own Vipers and are running exhaust setups that give off flames when driving and there is no paint damage done.

Most of the old Flame out the pipes set up are nothing more than spark plugs mounted through the pipes with an ignition coil to give it spark.Every one that I have ever seen was home made.

I found the autoloc kit cheaper here.
And another site about them:
Got Flames?
I have no idea how these work, I just found them with google.

Haha, yeah, nothing like that last picture. They are supposed to shoot traight out of the back like up to 20'. My friend that has them on his supra has his cats removed and i think the general process is still the same old spark plug and coil setup

There was a segment on that show Trucks! on the speed channel where the installed the flamethrowers on an old pickup. It was pretty involved and not at all healthy for your car. You had to install a control box that killed the ignition coil at a certain rpm letting fuel through the exhaust out to the tailpipe where your new spark plug is installed and ignites the fuel. Cats must be removed.
