This proves that the MT is faster because a car with less power and a slower 60ft is .3 quicker down the 1/4 and traps higher than you.

As for 6MT on the 370Z's there is a car with full bolt-ons running 12.3 and the fastest 7AT is running 12.6 so saying that there isnt good MT drivers that own a 370z or that no one who can shift good has driven one is not a correct statement.... Stock for stock no matter who is driving the MT the Auto is faster with a competent driver behind the Auto.

You can just make a blanket statement based off of a couple cars, in terms of slushbox autos , no matter what the vehicle the manual should always be faster than the auto with a good driver, those are just the facts, if you go on almost any car board you will see stock for stock manuals are faster than the autos , the 370 is an anomaly, not enough manual drivers have put them through the paces yet.

A slushbox is a slushbox is a slush box , it does not matter what the car is, if its not a dct, or something similar its not going to beat a comparable manual with a good drivert

I agree the majority of Autos Vs Man. will result in the MT winning in a race... But that doesnt mean you cant mod the auto and still be a fellow enthusiast.

I agree nothing wrong with an auto/modding autos whatever, in fact the big dog drag racers are usually modded autos, but I still believe there isn't enough data on the 370z yet to make a case that the auto is faster, time will tell I guess
