Thanks for the advise. I appreciate the suggestions. I hope you are right and that I can weight down the back, throw on some snow tires and be on my way.

I use to LOOOOVE the G35C concept and picked it above the Z. The Z design started to grow on me and I asked myself:

"What Japanese luxury coupe from a few years back is not bland and still hot?"

none...

I'll take the Z.

Default The G35 is EVERY BIT as problematic as Z

I'm not going to get into which car is nicer, that's for you to decide. But the people who are claiming the G has fewer problems are mistaken. They are essentially the same car. Same transmission (which can grind but will be replaced by nissan) and both are built similarly (both have a few rattles but they're stiff so expect it). If you look on G35driver.com and do a search for posts, you'll see the 03 G35 drivers had the same probs the Z owners did. And 99% of both cars had very minor problems that nissan has fixed, feather notwithstanding.

The probs that the Z has that I'm not aware of in the G: Grease streaks on windows (an easy dealer fix that shouldn't sway you either way), and Tire feathering. I'm willing to bet the G would have feathering problems, but its tires are a littler harder wearing and suspension is softer so it's probably less pronounced.
