Since im still learning and feeling out the car, I figured I'd go with a touch screen/bluetooth/navi to begin with my mods since im "still" satisfied with the stock form of the Z. Ill post pics once its installed!

I started with the head head unit too... Pioneer Z3. Then I got a sub box... and redid ALL of my speakers and replaced them with Boston Acoustics.

It was an easy 3-4k hahaha.

a D3 was my first mod , and 4 years later is my only audio mod. Soon i will change it up a little, time to ditch the sub, amp and maybe put some better door speakers in.

Well fellas got it installed yesterday and could not be happier!!!! This deck is AMAZING! Here go some low quality pics from my iphone! Sorry for the glare, im parked right in the sun! But there is no glare on the unit when sitting in the car, my looks crystal clear!



When iphone/ipod is plugged in, shows all the info plus the album art.

Navi, is pretty cool...havent had much time to mess with it but it is voice by voice navi, gives you the mph/mpg etc...also 2D or 3D, points of interest...


Phone menu...you can access your address book and set up speedial, the bluetooth for the phone is amazing and super clear!! The mic was installed on my a-pillar at the top.



And the DVD's look amazing!

 

I found that same unit and talked my buddy into installing it into his 2004.5 and he loves it. I even up loaded a screensaver from my jumpdrive of his car

 

Check ebay. There are a few of them on there for less than $400 WITH the add-on GPS

Can we get a pic of it showing the dash... so we see how it looks in the car.

 

What colors can you make the buttons? Looks great btw.
