Well....l got my Z stuck today lol
Some guys I now with 240s & Zs living up north each have two cars. Summer cars & winter cars. Just because some guys here can drive a Z in snow doesnt mean you should. The salt on the roads will still be horrible on the car. This is where owning a $2500 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 pickup will help. I think its retarded that people on here own 1 car, a D.D. Z with thousands invested but wont spend half or even a third of a turbo kit cost to protect thier investments.
Remember those things called "tire chains"....I hate to think of anyone using them on a rear wheel drive car but I wonder if anyone has ever tried them on a Z. I put them on my old Maxima (front wheel drive) and I can go anywhere...
Snow tires are amazing. I DD my Z here in philly and went through a snowdrift that swallowed a Jeep Wrangler an hour earlier. In fairness, the Jeeps tires were worn.
I guess winter tires wouldn't make much sense in GA though...your winters are usually mild.

If you have a set of snow tires, the 350z is just fine in most snow that doesn't impact the front bumper. The tires matter more than almost anything else. You shouldn't trade in your turbos for a pickup truck unless you have serious salt and snow in your state.
My neighbor is selling winter tires w rims pretty good condititon 245 40 18 dunlop wintersport m3 will these fit on my 2008 nissan 350z grand touring... what if any issues from installing the same size tires all around?
What bolt pattern are the wheels? You should not have a problem running the size tire all the way around.
You will run into problems with tcs/vdc since its a square set up.
As far as DD Zs that see snow duty, don't be a car snob. Given the right tires, the Z can do just fine during winter. I am not interested in owning and maintaining another car just so that I can drive it in winter. I bought my Z to drive it and I am driving it as much as I can. If it is snowing really badly, I just stay off the roads until they're cleared. You can't enjoy a Z if it is sitting in your garage. Salt can easily be washed off. After a snow storm, just take it to a car wash and make sure you go through the undercarriage blast to get most of it off.
