Default Decisions, Decisions...

So, in about two months i'll be coming to a cross roads.

I can either;

Buy a 2003-2006 with a DE and at LEAST 40-80,000mi for around $10-$14,000...

or..

Just wait 2-3 months more and pick up a 07-08 HR with maybe 20-40k miles for around 17-20,000...

my end goal is to go FI(don't flame please I know what I am getting into, and yes I know what it will cost me)

So what would you guys do?

I think the answer is kind of obvious but i'm curious what you guys have to say..

The DE FI kits and parts are cheaper now...so that extra 8-10,000 could really replace all the worn out suspension parts as well as go into the FI Jar

FWIW: I'm a previous Z owner, Owned a 2005 Performance 6mt from 2008-2010 and loved it.. and was ready to pull the trigger on a PL GT35R kit when i lost my job..Ironically i'm back at the same job!

Is that even a decision?

Get a newer car over a older car?

edit:

The newer ones have all the same **** the old ones did but better.

With the exception of cheaper parts and less oil consumption.

Get the newer HR, a stock HR block can handle more than a DE when it comes to FI
